Van Driver operates company vans or small buses. Loads and unloads passengers between various destinations. Being a Van Driver provides and collects appropriate documentation for passenger transportation. Ensures pick-up and drop-off are on time. Additionally, Van Driver may keep logs of vehicle maintenance. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a Valid Driver's License. May Require Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class B. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Van Driver works under moderate supervision. We are looking for someone who is willing and able to work in multiple different areas of farming.
Tractor Driving (long hours 7 days a week during planting & harvest and is able to operate machinery very well), Is able to load spray rig tractors during the summer months (long hours 7 days a week mixing chemicals), has basic mechanical knowledge for maintaining and fixing tractors (check oil/tires, grease, can fix a hydraulic hose etc.) Perform heavy lifting and manual labor. We have multiple different tasks that need to be done, not every day is the same. One day you might be weed eating and the next you might be driving/fixing a tractor. Must be willing to do whatever is needed to be done. Looking for someone who works well with others, has a positive attitude, speaks good English, has a Valid Drivers License, works hard and will be on time.
Also, if you excel in all areas and are a very good asset to the farm, you will be considered to help manage the farm for a higher pay.
