Do you have a passion for cardiology or interest in working in a complex specialty?  Then consider this opportunity with our team at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital Heart & Vascular Royalton.  We are recruiting a full time Advanced Practice Provider to join our established and busy practice in southwest Michigan.

Will consider Physician Assistants (PA) or Nurse Practitioners (NP).  Previous experience caring for cardiology and/or electrophysiology patients preferred.  Willing to train new grads who are a good fit for the practice.

Team includes six (6) interventional cardiologists, three (3) non-interventional cardiologists, nine (9) advanced practice providers, and one (1) electrophysiologist. Epic EHR.

Role includes a mix of outpatient clinic (60%) and inpatient (40%). Inpatient responsibilities include occasional weekends overage. Outpatient appointments include general cardiology, heart failure management, and post-hospital and post-procedure follow up appointments.

Responsibilities include call coverage, which is first-call and shared among the APPs. Phone only. No inpatient call coverage required.

The Heart & Vascular Team provides services in St. Joseph and Niles. The clinic in Niles is located on the campus of Corewell Health Niles Hospital. Future expansion planned to provide additional services in Watervliet. Office will be located on newly renovated and constructed space on the campus of Corewell Health Watervliet Hospital.

Corewell Health South is a teaching hospital offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine.  We also host 3rd and 4th year medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
