Vascular Technician performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Being a Vascular Technician may perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression. Requires an associate degree in medical sonography or equivalent. Additionally, Vascular Technician may require the Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Vascular Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are seeking an experienced ultrasound technician to join our cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience performing vascular and venous studies, and venous ablations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality patient care.
Experience with venous procedures- such as radiofrequency ablation, EVLT, and sclerotherapy is required.
