Vascular Technician performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Being a Vascular Technician may perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression. Requires an associate degree in medical sonography or equivalent. Additionally, Vascular Technician may require the Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Vascular Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Immediate Office Medical Record Specialist position available for fast paced Endovascular Surgery practice in North Broward County
· Minimum of one-year experience in a medical office setting
· Must be familiar with medical terminology, and able to understand it.
· Possess excellent customer service, reception, and telephone skills.
· Experience with EMR. Allscripts or eClinical Works.
· Must have experience in gathering patient information by collecting demographic, pertinent medical record information from a variety of sources.
· Must be able to maintain record availability by processing charts into the department, using chart mark-off procedures
· Must be detail-oriented, organized, dedicated, hardworking, and professional.
· Must have good people skills, good communication skills; be able to work with groups of people, and work under pressure.
· Insurance benefit verification preferred.
