Apex Vascular, a private outpatient vascular surgery practice is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse with vascular pre-op/post-op experience. Applicants must have a positive attitude and ability to work well as a team. Excellent pay, benefits, and work environment!

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our pre/post operative patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients in an outpatient vascular interventional setting

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to patients p post-procedure
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Qualifications:

• RN (Required)
• BLS/ACLS Certification Required
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Strong bedside manner with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interpret EKG patterns
• Ability to work well as a member of a healthcare team

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
