Santa Barbara Vascular Specialists is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients in preop, intraop and postop. We have a wonderful team to work with and look forward to hearing from qualified candidates!

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, including thoroughly documenting the patient chart throughout the entire outpatient procedure cycle
• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs for successful outcomes to vascular access procedures such as fistulograms, angioplasty, and thrombectomy
• Administer sedation under the supervision of the physician
• Monitor patient's vital signs intraop and communicate any abnormalities to the physicians
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Assist Scrub Tech when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse
• Excellent knowledge of pre and post operative care, willing to train on skills required to assist vascular surgeon intra op
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, organized

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday through Friday - No on call!
• Occasional Overtime

License/Certification:

• BLS/ACLS Certification (Required)
• RN (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
