Vascular Technician performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Being a Vascular Technician may perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression. Requires an associate degree in medical sonography or equivalent. Additionally, Vascular Technician may require the Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Vascular Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Medical Assistant duties consist of Vitals, EKG, ETT, Monitors, Lab Drawing is a plus. This job also has has some travel in provided van to satelittle offices. We are a busy office multi-tasking is a must. Work hours 7:45 am to 5 Monday - Thursday, Friday will be 7:45 am -1 pm. . You will be trained to perform diagnostic testing and using heart monitors., Scanning, working the chart to ensure previous test and medical records are entered, taking the initiative to help fellow coworkers when there is extra time. Team work is critical. Two years of experience as a Certified Medical assistant in an office setting is required.
You must provide your own transportation to and from work.
