VAULT TELLER monitors and records assets in the vault according to company and government standards and regulations. Verifies incoming deposits, counts currency, and balances the vault. Being a VAULT TELLER supplies other internal units with coin and currency. Places orders and fulfills requests to the Federal Reserve Bank to maintain required cash levels. Additionally, VAULT TELLER requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The VAULT TELLER works under moderate supervision.     Responsibilities

    • Welcomes customers to the park in a friendly, courteous manner.
    • Follow all rules, regulations, policies and procedures for the property area and assist in protecting and safeguarding all property assets.
    • Monitor and maintain prior vault inventory.
    • Verify any cash transactions which involve money transactions between park cashiers and/or runners.
    • Balance and reconcile cashiers and other vault cashiers.
    • Perform cash pickups and exchanges with other cashiers as needed.
    • Prepare nightly deposits.
    • Held to a high standard for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
    • Must accurately complete a report of transactions including cash, coupon, credit card and complimentary sales at the end of each shift.
    • Maintains a working knowledge of facilities/outlets and special and upcoming events on property, in order to advise customers of same, whenever possible.
    • Communicates important, relevant information to following shift.
    • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    AGE and GAMING:

    18 years of age or above. Non – Gaming property.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma or GED is preferred.  Previous money handling experience is preferred.

     

    TESTING:

    Must score at least 85% or better on a Basic Math test.  Must take the required testing identified for this position.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports.

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

     

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Essential responsibilities include physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least forty (40) pounds, and standing/walking 95% of the shift.  Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, twist, and grip throughout shift.
