    SUMMARY:

    Vault Tellers processes, monitors, and validates coin and currency amounts in the vault according to CCRH standards and regulations. Maintains an accurate record of all cash exchanges. Performs count of money and balances the vault. Receives, retains, and fulfills orders from 3rd party carriers to maintain required levels of cash. The Vault Teller must be fully proficient in their departmental duties, and able work with moderate supervision.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Keeps an accurate inventory of the vault.
    • Prepare banks for distribution to cashiers and venues.
    • Perform reconciliation of all receipts.
    • Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Reconcile/balance vault inventory on each shift.
    • Pull and count all unfit money, document, and prepare it to be returned to the bank.
    • Expected to maintain a high degree of accuracy for all transactions conducted.
    • Maintain currency counters and other equipment by performing minor preventative maintenance.
    • Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by the Money Room Supervisor/Manager.
    • Perform all other departmental duties assigned by supervisor/manager.

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum two (2) year prior cash handling experience required.
    • Minimum one (1) year prior vault teller experience preferred.
    • Maintain proper paperwork for daily vault activity.
    • Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
    • Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly addresses safety
    • threats and reports all concerns to supervisor.
    • Must be computer literate and proficient in 10-key.
    • Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
    • Ability to work in a busy team environment and multi-task as needed required.
    • Must be able to obtain and retain a Class A gaming license through the CDA Tribal Gaming Commission
