VAULT TELLER monitors and records assets in the vault according to company and government standards and regulations. Verifies incoming deposits, counts currency, and balances the vault. Being a VAULT TELLER supplies other internal units with coin and currency. Places orders and fulfills requests to the Federal Reserve Bank to maintain required cash levels. Additionally, VAULT TELLER requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The VAULT TELLER works under moderate supervision. Auburn Community Federal Credit Union is in need of a full-time Teller / Member Service Representative. We have 2 offices in Auburn, 1 office in Weedsport, and 1 office in Liverpool NY. As a member of our team, you will be expected to greet and welcome members in a courteous, professional and timely manner. Provide members with prompt, accurate, and efficient service in performing financial transactions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all credit union services and products handled and promoted by tellers in accordance with policies and procedures. Cross-sell credit union services and products. Salary is commensurate with experience and negotiable.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year credit union/banking and/or customer service.
Sales experience preferred.
