Vehicle Maintenance Manager assists with the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Assigns vehicles and drivers, prepares schedules, and oversees dispatch operations. Being a Vehicle Maintenance Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Vehicle Maintenance Manager develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. May administer insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participate in claim resolution. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Vehicle Maintenance Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Vehicle Maintenance Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary:
Assist the Director of Maintenance and Golf Course Superintendent in managing and maintaining golf course properties, including the golf course and surrounding areas, maintenance equipment, golf cars, clubhouse grounds, and the sod farm/nursery. Train, direct and supervise greenstaff. Assist in planning maintenance and project work to achieve long-range goals. Oversee scheduling and routing of personnel and equipment to accomplish daily work. Keep accurate and complete records on maintenance procedures, pesticide applications, etc. Requires knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices; a working knowledge of golf facility construction principles/practices/methods, and an understanding of the rules and strategies of the game of golf. Requires some administrative ability, especially problem solving and decision making, excellent oral and written communication skills.

The expected pay range is $52,000 - $68,075. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
