May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner performs a variety of tasks. Night operations includes the mechanics who care for the operations side of our ground vehicles, and the cleaners who make sure these vehicles are clean and tidy. These are the people behind the scenes who do the essential work that mostly gets noticed if it is NOT done well.
The cleaning crew keeps both coaches and vans spick and span to maintain safety standards and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction possible. This includes both the exterior as well as the interior of the vehicles. In addition, cleaners are responsible for fueling vehicles prior to each tour, and keeping all on-board maintenance equipment complete and in good working order.
The cleaner is responsible for completing all activities associated with the cleaning of 15-passenger vans and 26-passenger coaches. The cleaner is also responsible for assisting with the cleaning of the shop and office environment.
This position is for the summer season. Our season is from Mid-May to Mid- September. We are looking for individuals who LOVE TO CLEAN, enjoy working HARD and are proud of doing their job well.
