Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner cleans interiors and exteriors of transportation vehicles such as airplanes, automobiles, buses, railroad cars, and streetcars. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner performs a variety of tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
