Job Description
The Vendor Management Advisor will be responsible for enforcing service level agreements, managing IT projects with multiple vendors, and ensuring project performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of vendor management, implementation strategies, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
* Enforce service level agreements and manage vendor contracts for complex IT projects
* Collaborate with project staff and senior executives to manage project performance
* Analyze and communicate project performance metrics to promote successful project outcomes
* Identify and implement vendor management strategies to improve project efficiency
* Supervise and train junior staff on vendor management best practices
Qualifications
* **Minimum:**
* 20 years of working experience in software development and/or IT, including vendor management
* 5 years of senior leadership experience overseeing an IT department/division/organization
* 5 years of experience advising senior leaders and executives on high-level matters
* 5 years of managing service levels, service level credits, vendor management, and contracts in a multi-source environment
* **Desirable:**
* 5 years of working experience in collaboration with a project management office (PMO)
* Experience managing an operational or project budget of $25 million or more over an 8-year period
* Strong and effective communication and presentation skills
* Ability to effectively facilitate and guide strategy/brainstorming sessions with executives
* Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, information management, finance, accounting, or similar majors
