About the Team
In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide.
The Vendor Management Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our vendor partnerships, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and compliance standards. This role requires strong relationship management abilities, contract negotiation skills, and an understanding of procurement processes.
Responsibilities and Duties- Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring mutual benefit and adherence to contract stipulations.
- Negotiate contracts, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor vendor performance, ensuring deliverables are met and align with our standards.
- Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective vendor partnerships.
- Conduct regular vendor reviews and evaluations.
- Address and resolve challenges related to vendor relationships and deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in vendor management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in vendor management or procurement roles.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze vendor performance data and financial reports.
