Hardware Configuration Management Analyst

We are looking for an energetic, hard-working person to join our great team at R. A. Wood Associates.
Duties:- The position is for an Engineer or Configuration Management (CM) Analyst having at least five years of experience in hardware engineering, systems engineering, or product configuration management.
- This person will work closely with the product team to understand the interrelationships within the design and be responsible for CM of both developmental and operational systems throughout the product lifecycle – from new product inception, throughout product realization, to end-of-life. The CM Analyst chairs the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and enacts changes within the CM tool, Aligni, as directed by the product team and management.
- The CM Analyst is responsible for responding to requests for new part numbers, entering Bills of Material (BOMs) into Aligni, providing BOMs to Purchasing and supporting product kitting for assembly, and working with Purchasing to enter part pricing data into Aligni, as required.
- This person will work closely with Quality to develop or modify CM policies and procedures needed to implement a compliant CM process and facilitate periodic CM audits in support of AS9100 Quality disciplines.
- The ability to work independently with little direction and to work effectively as part of an integrated team is required.
Requirements:- At least an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or Systems Engineering; Bachelor’s Degree or Configuration and Data Management certification is preferred
- Five years of experience in engineering or configuration management disciplines
- Must be a US Citizen
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
