Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst assists with drafting and negotiating service-level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are adequately defined. Prepares reports and updates on vendor status and quality. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. SUMMARY OF JOB:
Provide nursing informatics support to Clinical Improvement Department and Quality Management Program. Priorities are activities that promote continuous compliance and improvement activities to meet Medicare and Medicaid Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission Accreditation Standards, Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program/American Osteopathic Accreditation (HFAP/AOA) standards, Bariatric Center of Excellence standards, and others as needed to obtain or maintain hospital accreditation or certifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors and collaborates to ensure technical and quality compliance with governmental/regulatory rules and regulations.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary health care team for development and implementation of the Quality Management Program.
Supports and Coordinates data collection for the Bariatrics Program Center of Excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and/or eight (8) years of healthcare organization experience. Proficient in Meditech and Meditech Reports, Microsoft Office. Current working knowledge of Rules/Regulations CMS (CoPs), ORYX Core Measures, and accreditation bodies (TJC & HFAP) preferred. Case Management experience including utilization review and discharge planning preferred.
This position's pay range is: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
