Vendor Quality Control Analyst jobs in Green Bay, WI

Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst assists with drafting and negotiating service-level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are adequately defined. Prepares reports and updates on vendor status and quality. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     The Quality Inspector position works with a team of Quality professionals to ensure quality and compliance of our manufactured products. 

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform inspection of products and materials using measuring tools and gauges
    • Document inspection results, and communicate any issues identified promptly for review & correction
    • Create NCNs and monitor the disposition of Nonconforming products
    • Create and circulate Quality Alerts within your assigned area(s) of coverage
    • Participate in and support corrective actions, preventative actions, and the problem-solving process

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a Science or Engineering field is preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

     

    SKILLS

    • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and electrical diagrams
    • Competent in the use of monitoring and measurement tools, such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and torque devices
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
    • Demonstrated problem solving ability
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
