Vendor Quality Control Analyst jobs in Milwaukee, WI

Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst assists with drafting and negotiating service-level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are adequately defined. Prepares reports and updates on vendor status and quality. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description

    Monitors and evaluates the quality of work as measured against timeliness, accuracy and productivity standards. Documents quality issues, performance measures and quality improvements for management review. Provides information to assist in giving feedback to employees and in the training of employees. Ensures proper application of and compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines and procedures.
    Basic Qualifications
    - High school diploma or equivalent
    - Typically one to two years of relevant experience, preferably in quality analysis and measurement activities
    Preferred Skills/Experience
    - Good knowledge and understanding of the products and services applicable to the assigned area
    - Good knowledge of the productivity and accuracy standards of the assigned area
    - Effective verbal and written communications skills
    - Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.63 - $28.19
