Position Title: Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Location: Alexandria, VA

Setting: Independent Orthodontic Practices - Not DSO Owned or Managed

We are helping our client find a dedicated and upbeat Orthodontic Technician to join their fantastic team!

Position Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a great attitude bring positive energy to the office everyday

• Enjoy working with children and communicating with parents
• Be reliable and a team player
• Be able to work the following schedule: (Please note, this schedule is mandatory to be considered for this position)
• Tuesday: 10am - 7pm
• Wednesday: 10am - 7pm
• Thursday: 10am - 7pm
• Friday: 6:30am - 3:30pm
• Saturday: 7:30am - 2pm (alternating weeks)

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Radiology License
• 1 Year of Assisting in Orthodontics (prior experience is not required and they are willing to train the right person if they meet the above criteria)
• Fluent in Spanish

Functions Performed with this Role Include:

• Perform Orthodontic Adjustments
• Placing and repairing brackets
• Collecting Orthodontic Records
• Digital/Traditional Impressions
• Invisalign Delivery and Patient Care Instructions
• Debonding Braces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
