May be required to be certified/licensed. Additionally, Veterinary Assistant is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Veterinary technician responsibilities include: assisting veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures, administering anesthesia and nursing care, clinical pathology, laboratory testing, radiography, medical record management, invoice generation, inventory maintenance and client education. Our practice includes in-house IDEXX laboratory analyzers, digital radiography, cold laser therapy, and a full surgical suite.
