Our leadership team practices hands on, open communication style management. Leadership is focusing on emotional intelligence and psychological safety. Leadership puts the needs of the employees first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible.
Communication is key to the success of a hospital. We have incorporated Monday huddles and staff meetings every month. This keeps everyone on the same page and working together towards our goals.
One of our current goals is to become AAHA accredited. Only 18% of veterinary hospitals across the nation have achieved this level of medical excellence. This is a 12 - 18 month process but we feel we owe it to our patients. We want to make sure that we are able to grow with the needs of the community as well as the way we practice medicine.
Let's talk about our culture! We typically do team bonding outside of work twice a year. We also have tried to keep up with "Food Thursdays". This is where everyone brings a dish to pass. It always smells amazing during Food Thursdays.
