- Must have experience checking in rooms, taking client histories, performing computer / chart work, cleaning, stocking, laundry, organizing, and possess a very naturally cheery disposition.
- Must possess a working knowledge to answer client questions regarding well care, immunizations, parasite testing and preventives, dental care and more.
- Our ideal candidate would have proficient technical skills - drawing blood, getting urine, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs, performing nail trims and anal gland expressions, running blood work on in-house machines, and more.
- A confident knowledge of animal behavior and the ability to restrain each pet as an individual and force free is required.
- Must have great interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Familiarize your self with the patient and client prior to arrival, be proficient at obtaining TPRs, completing medical charts, drawing up vaccines, obtaining lab samples, filling pharmacy scripts, preparing labs for send out, cleaning, stocking, answering phones, and more.
- We use electronic medical records, so fast typing and computer skills are required. Knowledge of Impromed Infinity is a plus but not required as long as you're a quick learner with technology.
- Absolutely cannot judge or be snarky. Must be able to deliver information that may be disappointing in a professional way.
