A veterinary hospital in PetSmart - West Dublin is looking for new veterinary assistants!!!

About us

We opened our clinic in January 2023, we are excited to find the right person to build up our hospital together. We are starting with one doctor and plan on getting accreditation from AAHA soon. We have state-of-the-art in house blood work/urinalysis machines, new digital xrays, dental machines, dental xrays, etc. We are using Rhapsody, the cloud based platform for medical notes and workflow.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a great personality and great reliability. We are excited to find a positive, proactive person to become our team. As a newly open hospital, we will make our own work environment together.

We are looking for veterinary assistants.

Hourly pay depending on the experience level.

What You'd Be Doing

• Communicating with clients
• Restrain patients
• Administering vaccines and medications
• Examining animals and checking vitals in preparation for the Veterinarian
• Taking X-rays of animals
• Drawing blood samples for testing
• Monitoring animals under anesthesia
• Stock up inventory, etc
• If you are not comfortable doing above, we can train you how to!

Schedule

• Job type : Full-time or Part-time
• The hospital is closed on Wednesday and Sunday
• 8 hour shift : 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Veterinary Experience 1 year (Preferred, not required)
• Work authorization (Required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
