    Department: Marketing

    Reports To: President and CEO & Executive VP/CMO

    Summary:

    Searching for an experienced and seasoned videographer to help tell the ongoing story of the Pocono Mountains as well as develop new content for the Pocono Television Network (PTN). The successful applicant must have strong active camera and editing skills. On camera experience as an MMJ or journalist is very helpful.  

    The candidates for this position should possess a talent and enthusiasm for crafting tourism related stories and showcasing the uniqueness of the Pocono Mountains. To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated, organized, passionate, friendly, and most importantly a team player who will fit within the culture of the PMVB as well as PTN. 

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Fulfill video assignments in conjunction with the Marketing, Public Relations, and Membership departments.
    • Work with organization’s members and identified community groups on various video projects.  
    • Be a natural and creative storyteller through the medium of video. 
    • Complete and file videos by deadline. Some projects may require quick turnarounds and shorter timelines.
    • Accept feedback and review of final pieces through editorial approval process. 
    • Manage multiple projects at any given time, including quick-turn around and special, high priority projects. 
    • Demonstrate exceptional planning/organizational skills and follow procedures for filing video and scripts. 
    • Shoot video and assist in producing LIVE shots for PTN at Pocono events. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Video/Film Production, Journalism, or relevant field.
    • Possess a driver’s license and willingness to travel to shoot locations. 
    • At least 3-5 years of experience working as a videographer/MMJ/Journalist in a newsroom, agency or similar setting. 
    • Carry up to 30 pounds of equipment. 
    • Proficient editing and color correction skills required, knowledge of Adobe Premiere and/or similar programs. 
    • Experience using LiveU or similar live broadcasting equipment.  
    • Applicant with drone experience and certification is a plus. 
    • Being familiar with the Pocono Mountains or having a strong interest in the region is a must.
    • Strong verbal and written skills are required.
    • Weekend and night work may be required as event schedules and projects demand.
