We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for an aspiring/up-and-coming videographer who is looking to expand their portfolio and be part of a really cool and uniquely Alaskan agricultural process. We are looking for someone to document our 2024 birch sap harvest which is due to begin in the next week and run for 3-4 weeks. Food and housing accommodations provided in Talkeetna for the duration of the project. Daily duties include documenting the work being down in the woods as well, conducting interviews with the crew, syrup making process, and following the day-to-day of our very unique business.
As a Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality videos to support our marketing and promotional efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of our organization.
Duties:
- Film and capture high-quality video footage for various projects
- Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards
- Ensure that all videos align with brand guidelines and objectives
- Manage all aspects of video production, including lighting, sound, and set design
- Conduct post-production tasks such as color correction, audio mixing, and adding graphics or special effects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video production techniques
Skills:
- Proficient in filming techniques and equipment operation
- Strong video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects
- Familiarity with post-production processes such as color correction, audio mixing, and adding special effects
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
