Job Title: Video Producer

Job Summary:

The Video Producer will support the U.S. Navy in Keyport, Washington. This role entails leading production of diverse professional videos, utilizing cinema-quality equipment and Adobe Creative Suite for editing and motion graphics. The role requires proven expertise in all aspects of videography, collaborative skills, and a commitment to industry standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the production of professional videos ranging from documentaries, commercials, human-interest features, news segments, social media content, and promotional videos using cinema-quality cameras and advanced studio lighting systems
• Operating cinema-quality video cameras and equipment to record professional video and audio of interviews, events, and narratives using creative cinematic techniques, framing, lighting, and sound
• Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop) to edit and enhance footage, incorporating motion design graphics, special effects, animations, transitions, and other graphic elements
• Collaborating with creative teams to conceptualize, storyboard, script, and plan video projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with industry trends and organizational goals
• Designing and producing industry-level motion graphics and illustrations for video products, including commercials, sizzle reels, social media content, films, and documentaries
• Maintaining a current video archive categorized for both public and non-public release, ensuring all video products are properly archived with metadata within specified timelines

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in all aspects of videography, including filming, editing, and motion graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video projects
• Expertise in operating cinema-quality video cameras, advanced lighting systems, and audio recording equipment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) for video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design
• Ability to translate concepts and ideas into compelling visual narratives, utilizing cinematic techniques and industry-standard practices
• Meticulous attention to detail in filming, editing, and post-production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to industry standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and creative teams

Desired:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field
• Certification in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software applications

Work Setting and Environment:

• Monday - Friday, normal working hours
• Hybrid work structure; 60% onsite and 40% remote
• Onsite location is Keyport, Washington
