    Primary purpose of the Senior Videographer: Strategic and operational management and implementation of activities related to the visual conception, design, creation, development, and production of in-house media - video (live action and motion graphic based) and audio.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Edit raw footage to produce final video content.
    • Conceptualize, film, and project manage media projects.
    • Produce and direct media projects.
    • Manage external agencies for specific media projects.
    • Execute production and post-production technical tasks.
    • Oversee the selection of appropriate locations for shoots and logistical requirements.
    • Transport, set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
    • Manage the production process, which may include finding talent, managing contracts, purchase requisitions, edit scripts, create graphics, and present to internal clients.

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 5 years experience rapidly producing video and audio content
    • 5 years experience with Avid or Premier Pro video editing software
    • Valid Driver License and ability to travel overnight at least 15%

    Preferred Job Requirements

    • Experience with sound and lighting production, motion graphics creation and editing, live action video editing, and color correction, in both studio and on-location settings;
    • Experience sourcing and managing freelance and contract vendors for filming and voice over work;
    • Experience scouting and selecting appropriate locations for shoots that meet logistical requirements as defined;
    • Experience managing complex, multi-day on location shooting schedules.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Able to effectively plan and execute video shoots
    • Expert knowledge of current digital media production equipment and processes
    • Must be able manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with quick turn-around
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well independently or in team environment
    • Ability to organize projects and video assets; utilizing digital asset management system
    • Ability to write creative briefs and scripts clearly and succinctly
    • Must have thorough understanding of broadcast industry and production standards


    Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; and to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel. Up to 15% travel and valid Driver's license required.
