Being a Videographer incorporates composition and lighting techniques to shoot high-quality video in various indoor or outdoor settings. Utilizes editing software to create graphics, visual assets, and edit footage. Additionally, Videographer typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Videographer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are currently hiring for a full-time videographer and social media coordinator. This position will be in charge of documenting the work we do, our company activities, creating training videos and generating content for our social media channels. Additionally, they will oversee the creation of our weekly YouTube series. Our YouTube channel currently has over 1.4 million subscribers, making this weekly show incredibly popular. In addition to our large following on YouTube we have over 4 million followers on TikTok and around 600k on Instagram.
This position is ideal for a young, creative videographer that is comfortable working in crime scenes, hoarder houses and other biohazardous situations. Proper PPE is always provided.
Responsibilities:
- Shooting footage of jobs for Crime Scene Cleaning YouTube series.
- Assist with titles, captions, and otherwise promoting of series.
- Respond to comments and upkeep with social media content.
- Track analytics
- Training Videos
- Update all current videos to be representative of current staff and procedures
- Promotional
- Work with marketing on advertisement scripts, filming, and photography.
- Reformatting videos for optimal social media consumption.
- Creative Production
- Collaborate with media team to write and produce various multimedia projects including podcasts, seasonal outreaches, and YouTube series spinoffs.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with camera equipment
- Proficiency setting up lighting for video
- Proficiency with capturing audio for video
- Ability to direct individuals on camera
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience sizing and compressing videos for different outlets
- Social media experience
- A reel of recent video work
- **MUST supply own camera equipment**
- **Recent graduates**
A portfolio of recent work will be asked for second step of interviews.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
