ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Captures a wide range of photographic still images and video in a both controlled and uncontrolled lighting in a variety of environments and conditions. (Portraits, products, food, studio and event coverage).
• Edits photographic images and video for social media, websites, print and digital advertising, email marketing, marketing collateral and point-of-service displays.
• Addresses and completes assigned photography request within Marketing work order system.
• Addresses and completes assigned (or assist in the videography request within Marketing work order system.
• Assists in filming and editing marketing videos that tell compelling brand stories, including interviews and b-roll shots.
• Works individually and alongside marketing team as well as internal and external stakeholders to design creative content that will solve business and public health challenges.
• Sets up and operates various types of production equipment including, but not limited to, cameras, lenses, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, green screens and microphones.
• Attends FDIHB events to capture content for marketing & educational purposes.
• Determines what equipment is necessary to complete content creation and production.
• Schedules and arranges photo and video shoots specific to assignment.
• Finds and secures shoot locations, vetting and interviewing subjects, interview questions and storyboards for assigned work order/request.
• Assists in the maintenance of photo content library and file archiving.
• Assists in the maintenance of media equipment and tracking.
• Attends meetings, seminars and conferences as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned

MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Four (4) years of direct work experience.

Education:

Associate’s Degree in Digital Media, Photography, Journalism, Media Production/Arts, Communications, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
