Visitor Research Analyst - Museum evaluates and researches visitor experiences, learning, exhibition, program etc. Utilizes findings to inform appropriate exhibit and improve museum program development. Prepares visitors reports and technical papers to suggest enhanced innovative learning environments for museum. Being a Visitor Research Analyst - Museum requires a master's degree of social science or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. We are accepting applications for part-time Visitor Experience Associates to act as the MCA’s ambassadors to the general public and enhance visitor experience by selling admissions, memberships, and tickets, providing information about the MCA in response to a variety of inquiries, assisting with wayfinding, and operating coat check. To be successful in this role, you must be able to:
• Proactively and warmly welcome visitors, offer guidance, invite participation, and provide information and services.
• Actively sell admissions, memberships, and tickets by phone and in-person to all MCA events in a pleasant, yet expedited fashion.
• Answer calls from MCA main line.
• Keep desks and other brochure racks stocked with museum guides and brochures.
• Stay informed of current and upcoming exhibitions, performances, public programs, educational programs, and marketing campaigns.
• Stay informed of museum policies on membership, security, and emergency procedures.

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays with openings and special events as assigned. Must be available to work 15-29 hours per week, with confirmed Tuesday availability. Ability to perform occasional light lifting, operate computers, printers, and telephones and general mobility throughout the building required.
