Being a Visitor Research Analyst - Museum requires a master's degree of social science or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. As a Quality Control Analyst II, you will analyze chemical, biological or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples in support of compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements. This role will work Sunday-Thursday 2pm-11pm CST (Sunday will be 8am-5pm) and a typical day will include: Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications and recommends and implements corrective action where necessary. Develops, validates, and implements controlled environment methods. Applies existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modification for improved efficiency or devises and develops new analytical methods and techniques. Performs qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation. May also be involved in establishing requirements for the transfer of methodology from R&D. Responsible for analytical and protocol report writing and standard operating procedures. Responsible for maintaining lab equipment and logbooks. Responsible for executing effective training of new analysts Responsible for performing data review May also be involved with investigative writing/reports once investigator certification is completed.
