Role Summary

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for setting up prize displays for new and existing customers, either hands-on at the customer location or by utilizing planogram software. They will also select the prizes to be displayed based on that customer’s demographics. They will provide training on merchandising best practices as well as our e-commerce platform while on-site. When they are not dedicating their time to merchandising, they will assist the Sales & Marketing team with various customer support initiatives and continuous improvement projects.  

The ideal candidate must be a road warrior, organized, self-motivated, energetic, customer-focused, creative, an effective communicator and a problem-solver with great follow-through. Travel to locations across North America such as Florida, California, Iowa, Texas, Georgia, Toronto, etc. is required. This position reports to the Chief Operations Growth Officer. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Merchandise prize/toy displays at customer locations
• Create merchandising plans for prize/toy displays
• Train customers on expert merchandising, redemption best practices and our e-commerce platform
• Continuously innovate merchandising techniques to fit our customer’s needs
• Provide courteous and prompt customer support
• Assist with tradeshow displays and preparation
• Road Warrior- Travel to customer locations (50-75% travel)
• Climb up and down ladders
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending or kneeling
• Lift and move boxes efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Additional duties may be assigned if needed

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2 – 3 years of experience in merchandising retail
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to travel 50% – 75% of the time (weekend travel on occasion, but not normally)
• Must be efficient in Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Suite is preferred but not required
• Must have a "whatever it takes" attitude
• Must be able to rent vehicles

Compensation & Care Package

The compensation plan will include a competitive base salary dependent on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
