    The Job

    The Visual Merchandising Specialist will play a vital role for crafting the customer experience by implementing engaging product and visual displays throughout the store. They will partner with store management and the VM Manager to execute the store's visual merchandising strategy.     The Opportunity

    • Represent evo in a positive, humble, and friendly manner consistent with our Great 8 values
    • Lead and direct the merchandising directives to deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure excellent visual standards are consistently maintained.
    • Executes store visual merchandising plan based on evo’s Visual Merchandising Standards and seasonal floor-sets.
    • Maintain and adapt merchandise presentations based on sell-through and current business needs.
    • Replenish the sales floor consistently to ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
    • Place all incoming product on the sales floor in a strategic way according to evo's sample system and guidelines, current seasonal direction, the market, and in consideration of sales and events.
    • Plan, receive, and coordinate weekly shipments which includes managing the team scheduled to help unload/unpack the shipment, ensuring that all is done in a clean, organized, and timely manner before store opening.
    • Provide insight and analysis on consumer trends, retail landscape, and any other relevant influencers that affect sales.
    • Analyze various reporting to look for opportunities to improve profitability and drive results
    • Communicates inventory need to management to ensure adequate assortment is available for customers and increase sell-through.
    • Continuously train and update all floor staff to ensure they understand and support the visual standards and guidelines.
    • Be willing and able to happily assist customers at any time. As a member of the team, there will be times that you are needed to support other areas of the store including but not limited to greeting guests, ring customers on the POS, collecting will calls, and other various customer focused tasks.

    • Proven ability to increase store sales and profitability through thoughtful visual displays
    • Innate sense of taste and drive to present product in its best light
    • Thorough understanding, experience with, and/or knowledge of best-in-class inventory management practices. 
    • Possess a driven desire to provide excellent guest experiences that build loyalty and credibility within our communities.
    • Creative in finding innovative workable solutions to business challenges
    • Work gracefully under pressure while maintaining a respectful and calm demeanor.
    • Ability to make sound judgment calls in the best interest of our guests, employees, and evo.
    • Commitment to quality with meticulous attention to detail 
    • Honest communicator who welcomes the exchange of direct feedback and effortlessly adjust to evo’s visual standards, practices, and guidelines. 

    The Nice to Haves:

    • Previous experience driving and implementing visual merchandising standards in a multi-unit specialty retail environment
