Visual Merchandising Director directs an organization's visual merchandising department. Responsible for driving sales and profits with pricing decisions, display strategies, and events. Being a Visual Merchandising Director manages staffing strategy and decisions. Oversees regional display initiatives and ensures they correspond to overall organizational decisions and objectives. Additionally, Visual Merchandising Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Visual Merchandising Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Visual Merchandising Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     • MEAs work in teams, with on-site supervision and provide service to multiple departments in the store which requires repetitive lifting, bending, and operating lift equipment.
    • MEAs build and maintain strong relationships with store associates and provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
