Visual Merchandising Manager creates, develops, and implements all visual merchandising programs. Leads the design of in-store visual displays in support of the organization's sales objectives. Being a Visual Merchandising Manager creates effective displays and shopping experiences to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Visits store locations in an assigned region to communicate merchandising strategy and ensure quality of display implementations. Additionally, Visual Merchandising Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Visual Merchandising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Visual Merchandising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
