Being a Voice Communications Analyst ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features, including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems. May research and recommend vendors. Additionally, Voice Communications Analyst may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Voice Communications Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for a Communications Officer. The current opening is for a permanent, part-time, benefited position working 40 hours per week. Performs intermediate technical work receiving, classifying, processing, and dispatching emergency service calls, receiving, recording, and forwarding non-emergency service calls, preparing and maintaining records and files, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Communications Supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education and ExperienceMinimum requirements are: Two years of post-secondary education, preferably in communications officer (dispatch), law enforcement, criminal justice, corrections, emergency medical services or nursing specializing in emergency room or emergency care andTwo years of work experience (at least six months in one or more of the previously listed disciplines).Or Four years of full-time equivalent experience working in communications/dispatch, corrections, law enforcement, emergency services or a related crisis assistance position and An additional two years of work experience in any discipline.Preference will be given for rapid data entry, report writing and multi-tasking experience.Job offer contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening, psychological exam and background check.
