JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Media Coordinator creates and maintains a strong social presence for CCES with a strong focus on Cavalier Athletics, implementing marketing strategies through the school’s official social media accounts. Ultimately, this position will increase web traffic, engagement, and awareness of CCES within the community. The position reports directly to the Assistant Head for Advancement with a dotted-line report to the Director of Athletics.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates all official school social media channels including Facebook (@ccescavaliers and @ccesathletics), Instagram (@ccescavaliers and @cavalier_athletics), and Twitter (@ccesathletics).

Develops an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.

Utilizes Twitter accounts for media relations for school and athletic events.

Shares content created by members of the SMAC team on appropriate social channels to include advertisements, infographics, e-blasts, blog stories, photos, invitations, events, and more.

Suggests creative ways to attract more prospective families and promote our brand.

Lead photographer for all athletic needs and assists with photography with other life of the school activities as needed.

Manages the CCES Athletics SmugMug account.

Creates schedule and score graphics for athletic teams.

Creates, edits, and disseminates content of an athletic nature for the purpose of both internal and external marketing.

Works closely with the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications (SMAC) to ensure consistent use of CCES identity/brand identity.

Collaborates with the Digital Marketing & Communications Manager on content and timing of posts.

Collaborates with the Director of Young Alumni Relations & Communications on all institutional content

Collaborates on writing school wide blogs and Senior Spotlights with full SMAC team

Maintains awareness of trends in communication and social media and stays up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
ADVANCEMENT OFFICE TEAM MEMBER

Serve as customer service liaison to all School constituents. Proactively assist the community.

Attend on-campus and off-campus events, as necessary. Some evenings and weekends are required.
