This role is part of our Automotive & IoT division and is ideally based in Canada’s Eastern Time Zone to collaborate with North American and European team members.

The main scope of this role is to drive Partnering activities to open up new revenue streams for our customers and SoundHound AI.

In this role, you will:

• Define Product Requirements for v-com (voice commerce)
• Define processes and dependencies in the context of ordering goods and services with third-party providers using our SoundHound Voice AI
• Conduct market research and work closely with the Business Development department to ensure pursuing user-relevant offerings
• Be frequently in touch with 3rd parties to identify opportunities and drive collaboration agreements
• Collaborate with the Engineering department to identify scalable solutions that fulfill product requirements while considering an optimized effort-/benefit-ratio
• Consider both frontend and backend implications
• Prioritize feature roadmap and organize backlog for this workstream
• Work closely with Product Management leadership to ensure alignment of this endeavor with the broader Product Strategy

We would love to hear from you if:

• You have a minimum of 5 years experience in Product Management
• You have successfully shipped software products at scale in fast-paced environments
• You are used to working with cross-functional teams spread across timezones
• You are comfortable working in a remote-first/hybrid setup
• You have worked with external partners in context of 3rd party collaborations
• You know how to deal with the pain of trade-offs in the context of product decisions
• You enjoy working with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation
• You are a team player and pleasant to work with
• You have an advanced degree in a technical or business field

We’d be especially excited if you know about the specific context of e-/v-commerce collaborations, and if you have dealt with referral and listing fees distributed between various players. Also, ideally, you are a strategic thinker who doesn’t shy away from rolling up their sleeves and working very hands-on.

This role is available in Canada's Eastern Time Zone. Employees within a 100-kilometer radius of our Toronto office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration. Aside from these office-specific “core days,” this job allows for virtual/remote, hybrid, and in-office workplace setting options. Total compensation for this role includes a competitive salary, equity (SOUN shares), comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits.
