Motivates and inspires volunteers to encourage teamwork. Additionally, Volunteer Coordinator - Hospice ensures that the activities of the volunteer workers meet the needs of the organization. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Volunteer Coordinator - Hospice work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing plan and knowledge of the market.
    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
    • Build and monitor perceptions of Legacy as a high-quality provider of services.
    • Monitor and report the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts.
    • Provide end-of-life education to community sources.
    Key Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, Master's degree preferred.
    • At least three (3) yearsÂ’ experience in healthcare marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
    • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
    • Personal car for travel and valid driverÂ’s license. Carry personal auto liability insurance coverage.
