General Position Summary:
As a Volunteer Coordinator for our organization, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a robust volunteer program with a strong focus on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for those with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for volunteers from diverse backgrounds while ensuring their engagement aligns with our organization's values and objectives. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is not supervisory in nature but provides direction and tasks to volunteers when necessary. The supervisory responsibilities include tracking hours, signing timesheets for requirements and training.
Interpersonal Contacts:
Has both internal and external contacts. The most common internal contacts are with departments managers. The most frequent external contacts are with local businesses, universities, etc. for volunteer recruiting and other fundraising purposes. The types of interactions, for both internal and external contacts, are to help grow and advance the company’s volunteer workforce.

This position will mainly be in the office with some light travel needed for networking events and meetings with potential volunteers. May be required to attend meetings outside of regular shifts, including weekends.
