Volunteer Coordinator supervises and leads the daily undertakings of a volunteer program to attract, inspire, train, and deploy volunteers. Leads the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of volunteer workers. Being a Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for training and educating volunteers. Motivates and inspires volunteers to encourage teamwork. Additionally, Volunteer Coordinator evaluates and reviews volunteer schedules and makes adjustments as necessary. Ensures that the activities of the volunteer workers meet the needs of the organization. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Volunteer Manager Job Description
Volunteer Manager is essential to the coordination of the volunteers who serve Family Promise of Skagit Valley. Volunteer Manager is in charge of ensuring shelter coordinators, family mentors, van drivers, interns and all other volunteers are recruited, trained and scheduled. You will be tasked with ensuring specific staff is then prepared to manage volunteers for their department. Supporting all staff along the way to better manage volunteers.
Volunteer Manager will be in charge of creating new projects for volunteers, will work with director and volunteer support staff to create annual healing calendar, volunteer appreciation and ensure regular communications are sent this includes, social media, newsletters, emails, invites, agendas and follow up. This role will also support the organizational efforts of Community engagement and volunteer growth.

Conducts volunteer surveys to better support volunteer engagement and feedback.

Hourly Position: This is a growing position that will start off at 30-35 hours a week at $23-25 dependent on training and experience.
