Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
Department: Family Ministries
Reports to: Family Ministries Volunteer Care Pastor
Status: Part-Time | Hourly

New Life Church's mission is to make disciples in the Pikes Peak region, by calling people to worship, connect and serve.
To serve New Life Church by providing support to the Family Ministries volunteers and volunteer events.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with the administration duties of the Family Ministries Volunteer Pastor in the recruiting, selecting, equipping, leading volunteers and development of volunteer leaders.
- Prepare and maintain the volunteer ministry descriptions catalog for recruiting
- Oversee the development of volunteers and volunteer teams to manage the monthly photo booth.
- Assist in the development and execution of the Family Ministries Volunteer Remember and Celebrate event.
- Assist and execute the Family Ministries Volunteer Pancake Breakfasts.
- Assist and execute Family Nights under direction of Family Ministries Executive Pastor
- Maintain and update the policies and procedures Family Ministries Handbook.
- Assist in the development and execution of the Family Ministries Volunteer onboarding process (including Orientation).
- Create processes and systems that help the volunteer ministry function at a high capacity.
- Assist in the development and execution of volunteer recognition.
- Maintain accurate CCB SERVEFamily Ministries Volunteers lists.
- Oversee CCB pipeline bringing attention to overdue and any pending issues
- Respond in a timely manner to volunteer correspondence.
- Maintain files relating to programs and events for future reference on One Drive
- Assist with duties as assigned on Sunday mornings.
- Oversee/Coordinate the Green Room on Sunday mornings in cooperation with support staff.
- Work with Admins from each department as needed.
- Prepare facility requests for meetings and big events.
- Demonstrate ongoing financial support for the ministries of New Life Church.
- Attend regular staff meetings, ministry staff meetings and additional meetings when requested.
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment among our staff and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of New Life Church.
- Cooperate with the Family Ministries Executive Pastor by performing any other duties when asked to do so.

- Strong computer skills, including familiarity, experience and ability to navigate and produce documents within a variety of software applications (MS Office Suite, databases, MS Outlook) and strong Internet researching skills.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum two years administrative support, general office or related work experience.Event and volunteer management experience a plus.

Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and or move up to 25 pounds.
