Volunteer Coordinator jobs in La Crosse, WI

Responsibilities:

• -Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
• -Receive and be the initial contact for visitors, volunteers and donors
• - Develop and implement strategies to recruit, train, and manage volunteers
• - Create and maintain volunteer schedules and assignments
• - Conduct training sessions for new volunteers
• - Develop and implement volunteer recognition programs
• - Collaborate with other departments to identify volunteer needs
• - Maintain a cooperative relationship with funding and food drive sources
• - Manage social media platforms to promote volunteer opportunities
• -Maintain volunteer sign up and reporting software
• -Update and maintain Facebook and website accounts
• -Assist in special event and food drive planning and implementation

Requirements:

• -Possess an associates degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• - Strong public speaking and leadership skills
• - Experience in volunteer management or related field
• - Excellent organizational and time management skills
• - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• - Knowledge of social media management techniques for recruitment purposes

Pay: $16.85 - $20.30 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
