Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. A master’s degree is strongly preferred.
LSW licensure required; LCSW or LICSW
Experience as a social worker in a healthcare-related setting. Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center is strongly preferred.
Knowledgeable of the rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities.
Communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
