We are seeking a service-driven candidate for the Director of Nursing/Resident Services position, responsible for ensuring that care services for our residents exceed expectations. The Director of Nursing/Resident Services will serve as a part of the management team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, hire, train, supervise, and resolve problems with staff. Works closely with the Executive Director to provide the best care for our residents in their homes.
The incumbent should have experience working in the senior housing industry. The candidate must have strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a group dynamic.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises in the Resident Services/Nursing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
