Direct Reports: Regional Crisis Line & Administration Volunteer Coordinator, Peer Services Volunteer Coordinators
Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Pay rate: $32-36/hour, depending on experience
Location: Renton/Belltown/Hybrid

POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages organization-wide volunteer program, including recruitment, screening/interviewing, orientation, stewardship, recognition, and engagement for individuals, community groups and corporate partners. Ensures organization volunteer opportunities provide meaningful experiences and connection to the mission.
Oversees volunteer and community engagement activities such as public speaking requests, tabling, and participation in community events. Provides outreach to community and donor groups including program and corporate partners and workplace giving campaigns.
The Manager is responsible for maintaining a volunteer workforce sufficient to operate our 24-hour Regional Crisis Lines, Warm Line, Teen Link programs, and Survivors of Suicide mentorship program.
Grounds volunteer and outreach program strategies and operations in the organization’s values including diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).

Working Conditions: Individuals in this position should be able to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time. Individuals will need to be able to wear a headset or earphones as they take calls and attend meetings. Individuals will need to manage several IT/software platforms at once and be able to function in an environment with moderate noise and distraction.

Computer Skills Assessment: Crisis Connections requires a basic Computer Skills assessment to measure computer literacy and skills. The assessment is approximately 15 minutes in length, and timed. HR will provide a link to complete the test after screening qualified candidates.
