Description

Edgar Minerals Inc is looking for a fabricator/ maintenance technician for IMMEDIATE HIRE. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This job title includes the following duties:

• Basic welding techniques (Stick and MiG)
• Assembling equipment/ structures though out the plant, under supervision
• Operating heavy equipment (forklift etc.) , with safety as your number one priority
• Operating basic hand tools (Grinder, drill, etc.)
• Operating Oxy/ Acetylene Torch
• Metal working, under supervision
• Blasting and painting equipment
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area/ fabrication shop

Requirements

• MUST be able to work will with others as a team
• MUST be willing to travel to other locations with possible overnight stays 
• Wear proper PPE at all times
• Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.
• Observe and follow all safety principles and practices
• Complete tasks given to you by the plant manager

Qualifications:

• Must have Valid Florida Driver’s License 
• Highschool GED or equivalent is desired, not required
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of Torch and welding skill.
• One year of verified experience/ knowledge is required.
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Job Type: Full-Time

Starting Hourly Rate: $19.50

3-5 years of experience: $25
