Job Summary Develop Industrial Excellence initiatives in Fabrication plants across North America, driving the Divisional KPI’s, coordinating plants to achieve optimum potential of staff, systems, equipment, machines & site operations. Principal Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environment / Quality Ensure all solutions drive a Safety-First culture and support Aliaxis Divisional & Global Safety standards deployment Support the implementation of the Divisional HS&E strategy, ensure site accountability and report on progress, events and initiatives Manufacturing Excellence Lead the development and execution of the Manufacturing Excellence road map across North America to bring standard solutions for all Fabrication sites Contribute in developing a divisional organization structure to deliver Manufacturing Excellence across the regions ensuring alignment, discipline and financial targets are achieved Establish performance and result indicators to help manage, route cause and continuously improve production processes Contribute and support the businesses to deliver against the manufacturing excellence KPIs and Annual budget Ensure implementation of North American wide projects and initiatives through ongoing liaison with key stakeholders Lead Manufacturing process improvements Support development and implementation of a standard management system Centralize, standardize and deploy best practices across fabrication sites People Contribute to the development of Best Place to Work objective Execute on manufacturing excellence goals plant wide to achieve performance, financial and staff development objectives Coach, assist, and develop Manufacturing Excellence leaders to drive operational shop floor excellence and removes barriers for employees to meet measurable objectives Deploy and participate in Gemba walks and coaching on 5S / standard work / visual management development/modification/adherence, M.D.I., continuous improvement, flow, and problem solving and other lean methods, techniques and processes Attend to individual mindsets to help foster a culture of change leadership Support planning, execution and sustainment of Kaizen and Lean manufacturing related events within value stream team(s) Track and report program progress and communicate with plant leadership Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related Technical field is required LEAN Six Sigma certification is an asset 10-15 years of proven successful experience in supporting or leading manufacturing sites or teams, with focus on manufacturing excellence projects and demonstrated process improvement success Demonstrated experience of having lead teams in a performance management environment across different sites in operations or support roles Solid project management experience Must have a solid understanding of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Financial acumen #LI-JM1 IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
