Wafer Fabrication Operator jobs in Philadelphia, PA

Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Fabricator Supervisor to support our Erial, NJ manufacturing operation. This is a Supervisory position, the candidate will work with plant management and production staff to meet customer and company requirements for safety, productivity, and quality.

The ideal candidate will:

• Coordinates and directs manufacturing operations of the Fabrication Department to meet daily production goals;

• Monitor supply levels and requisition parts and supplies as needed;

• Read and interpret blueprints, instruct employees on assembly;

• Have experience with production fixture set-up and maintenance;

• Supervise production fabrication crews;

• Monitor and verify product quality;

• Have Safety First focus, experience with maintaining a safe shop floor environment.

• Familiar with TAKT and Std Cost Efficiency reporting

Qualifications:

• Completion of Degree/vocational program a plus;

• Bilingual preferred but not required;

• Minimum 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment;

• Minimum 2 years of manager/supervisory experience

• Ability to read and understand blueprints;

• Experience working with sheers, press brakes, small tools, CNC machining is a plus

• Strong people skills and ability to organizational ability required;

• Prior experience working with 5S and lean manufacturing techniques.
